"Twenty minutes after being poured, Steve thought he died and went to heaven. The Gary's truly drank like a Burgundy. It was unbelievably silky, supple, smooth and complex. All of the front end fruit and tanins dissipated, leaving an amazing array of complex layers and incredible roundness. Honestly, it was the single best U.S. pinot I've ever had. It blew me away. Needless to say, not only did we finish the Pinot quite quickly, but we didn't even give a taste to the staff... "
